What Would You Like Me to Paint For you?

Commissions are so special to paint for people.

To be trusted to translate a beloved pet or even a special family lake cabin is such an honor. Commissioned original paintings make amazing, personal gifts.

My specialty is pet portraits, but I've painted a remote Alaska vacation cabin, a still life of a person's most cherished items and even an elephant that was colored with the U.S. flag!

Prices for pet portraits:

Oil paintings: $550 for one pet or $750 for two pets in one painting up to 20" x 24"

Black and white drawings: $175 for one pet, $250 for two pets in one piece, up to 10" x 14" These works will be either graphite on thick, museum-quality paper, or ink on illustration board, depending on your preference.

Prices for other subjects:

It takes about two weeks for me to complete an oil painting, and two or three days for a drawing. The oil paint also needs time to dry, so allow about six weeks for the order to arrive.

Shipping:

Shipping is included in the purchase price.

Paintings will be rolled up for shipping. All art will be carefully wrapped in acid-free paper, thick protective wrap, boxed in sturdy cardboard and insured. Also included will be a "certificate of authenticity" and signed by me.

Payment:

One-third of the purchase price is due upon the receipt of the commission. I will provide you with photos of my first studies so that you can approve the composition and colors.

Payment will be by Venmo or Paypal.
