"Signal Creek in Winter"

This painting of a chill, calm February morning on a small, partly frozen creek will add tranquility to any space. I sat on my little stool to paint this with my hiking gouache paint kit, surrounded by my three border collies. 

I could hear the American dippers sing as they fished in the water's edge, and heard the swish of the wings of bald eagles as they flew overhead.
