This painting of three herring gulls chatting about their day was exhibited in the 2025 U.S. Forest Service's Hummingbird art show in Ketchikan, Alaska and has been gracing our home since. I painted this when I was enchanted by a photo that I saw of these birds seemingly having a discussion about their breakfast.
